As a company listed on the Euronext CAC 40 index, Veolia Environnement is rated for its extra-financial performance based on published information and statements.

Veolia's CSR performance has been recognized externally through its inclusion in the FTSE4Good, ASPI and Ethibel Sustainability indices and in the premium category by the Oekom agency.

Since 2002, Veolia Environnement has been included in the Ethibel Excellence Europe and Ethibel Excellence Global indexes (covering global financial performance of companies worldwide that lead the way in sustainable development), based on assessments by Vigeo.

In 2011, Veolia Environnement was again listed in the ASPI index, following its inclusion from 2004 to 2008.

In the same year, the company retained its "Prime" rating, awarded by German agency oekom research to companies among the best in their industry in the field of social and environmental responsibility.
