Health and safety is a priority and a constant concern for Veolia in all its activities. Everywhere, we are committed to guaranteeing the physical and psychological integrity of our employees. Improving prevention, accident analysis, social dialogue on health and safety are included in all the health, safety and working condition related agreements signed in the Group.

2020 OBJECTIVE 

CSR performance
This document sets out the key data on Veolia’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance.

Achieve an occupational accident frequency rate of less than or equal to 6.5.
The accident frequency rate is the number of accidents per million hours worked and is the Group’s preferred indicator.
 

2015 PERFORMANCE

The accident frequency rate (number of accidents per million hours worked) was 11 in 2015.
The severity rate (number of days lost per thousand hours worked) was 0.54.

In 2014, nearly 56% of employees received safety training and 36% of training hours were dedicated to these subjects

The rate of absenteeism, which can be considered as an indicator of the social climate within the Group remained constant at around 4.23%
