Emails have been sent to register for a conference supposedly organized by GSSDEV "in association with Veolia Sustainable Development" regarding " The economics of climate change" held in New York (United States) and in Accra (Ghana). A second email was addressed to any person having shown interest in the conference, with a form attached inviting the payment of registration fees.
However, Veolia Environnement is not involved in this conference and the matter was already raised with the competent authorities in order to initiate all necessary legal proceedings.
While every measure is taken to put an end to these practices, Veolia Environnement issues a strong warning to any person who received such emails.
Veolia Environnement urges them not to respond and to report any such emails to the "contact address".
