Continuing success in obtaining the Diversity label in France
After VE SA head office, the Campus network, Veolia Water and Veolia Environmental Services, Dalkia France too is awarded the Diversity label
Dalkia France, a Veolia Environnement subsidiary, was awarded the Diversity label on July 11, 2011 for a period of three years, covering its "management and optimisation of energy services" scope.
This label, the property of the French government, is awarded by an equal-representation commission on the basis of an audit conducted by AFNOR Certification. It rewards commitment to progress and actions in favor of preventing discrimination, equal opportunity and promoting diversity.
Today, 133 Veolia Environnement companies in France have obtained this label. Since July 2010, it has been awarded to VE SA head office, the Campus network, Veolia Water ("UES Générale des Eaux" scope) and Veolia Environmental Services ("management of solid waste" scope).
The Diversity label constitutes a strong guarantee of quality and respect, both in terms of human resources management and with respect to Veolia Environnement's different contacts and partners. It testifies to the capacity of a very large group to mobilize around the human challenges it faces, by enrolling all its employees in a commitment to social innovation and respect of fundamental rights. It commits Veolia Environnement to a process of professionalization and continuous improvement in its human resources management and team management practices.
In this way, Veolia Environnement, with its approximately 317,000 employees, has become one of the first service groups to demonstrate the performance of its social model and its determination to promote exemplary practices with respect to all its partners and clients. This ambition is based on the evolution in the Company's everyday management principles towards integrating the requirements of diversity in every decision and every management act.
