2008: "Cities around the World" is the fifth Veolia Environnement international sustainable development awareness campaign. With "Cities around the world" 115,000 children from 27 countries, the world over, gave

their city the opportunity to have its say : they found out more about their city, they discovered its desires and dreams and expressed what people could do so that it keeps living in harmony with the Earth.

International meeting of winning children

In June 208, Two pupils from the winning class in each participating country were invited to Paris, accompanied by their teacher, to attend the grand international meeting of winning children, in Paris.

The high point of this event is the awards ceremony and the official opening of the "Cities around the World - when our cities tell their tale" exhibition.

The 2007 campaign in numbers: the program gathered 64,000 children from 25 countries, the world over.
