My picture describes the environment in New Zeland by havig trees to show the forest and the plants and the animals that share this environment.

I dyed the sea anq waves blue/green to show we have lovely beaches and we have lots of fun at the beach.

I drew the crabs to show the animals and sea-creatures that live in the sea and show life under the sea.

I used my imagination to create a bright and colourful picture of what I think New Zealand looks like.

I took the ideas of "clean and green" and the Maori koru (the front of native fern), to express the Maori culture and to show people how we live in a beautiful environment in New Zealand.

We can keep our environement clean and green through not leaving rubbish lying around, protecting endangered animals such as the kiwi, a flightness bird (our national symbol) and plants such as the pohutukawa tree. The pohutukawa is a native tree, wich has bright red flowers and is known as our "Chirstmas Treeé because it flowers in December.

If we all thought about how to keep te environment pollution free, our world would be a nicer place to live in.
