Welcome to join the first open innovation step of Sweden’s biggest innovation competition. The task is to develop a small production unit for vegetables, fish and maybe other biological goods where residual heat is used as heating source. The Swedish cities of Malmö, Lund, Bjuv and Oskarshamn plan to establish the production units in the first wave.

The competition will have three distinct stages, each of which will see the number of participants reduced. The first open innovation step welcomes anyone having a part or complete solution to the task. The first step ends up in a pitch event in October where the best proposals will be invited to present to the evaluation panel. The competition is supported by Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation agency, and thirteen partners. The price money is 2 million SEK in total.
