(Re)sources think tank

(Re)sources brings together individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, who all share the belief that access to essential services – water, sewerage and power – represents an absolute priority for development and that the international community has a responsibility to these populations.

Created in 2004, (Re)sources is a think tank on access to water, sanitation and electricity in developing countries. Its ambition is to conduct a dialogue by organizing debates to highlight local initiatives and to give impetus to the solutions that are part of a dynamic economic progress and social inclusion.

(Re)sources, a network of exchange created there is more than 10 years

The (Re)sources think tank was created after a colloquium organized in 2004 at Libreville (Gabon) on the topic of "Water and energy rights: from vision to action", focusing on individuals from the world of business, politics, institutions and ideas. Following this meeting, the main contributors decided to pursue their consideration of developing water access for all via an informal network. (Re)sources contributes to public debating, and organizes several meetings throughout the year in the form of colloquia, conferences/debates or side events at large international conferences.
