Phase I : engineering design for works and tender documents
- Review of existing documents
- Diagnosis of the treatment works and preparation of an inception report
- Preliminary and detailed design of the rehabilitation and expansion works to Legedadi WTP, transmission and dams
- Preparation of the Tender Documents, tender evaluation and preparation of contract documents
Phase II : Construction Supervision for the dams, water treatment plant and transmission main rehabilitation and expansion
- Review of Contractors’ Work Program and drawings
- Instruction to the Contractors and Supervision of Construction Operations
- Advice to the Client on works progress and preparation of monthly progress reports
- Inspections, testing and commissioning
- Delivery of “as built” drawings and O&M manuals
- Additional environmental, social and electromechanical components
- Transfer of skills and technology and defect liability period
The successful implementation of this water supply infrastructure project contributes for 60% of the total Addis Ababa water production.
