Dalkia Joins the Veolia Team

From the 1 August 2014, Dalkia Australia and New Zealand will officially join the Veolia family, transitioning to the Veolia brand. While a strong partnership with Dalkia and Veolia has existed for over 20 years in Australia and New Zealand, this new step building on the global agreement signed in June 2014, will strengthen and leverage the company’s value proposition to deliver innovative, environmentally friendly solutions that are needed today, with a sustainable vision for tomorrow.

We ask Stewart A. Wood, President and CEO for Dalkia Australia and New Zealand what these changes will mean going forward.

What Will Change?
Stewart: All Dalkia business branded assets will transition over to the Veolia name, logo and brand standards during the second half of 2014.

What does the Veolia brand represent?
Stewart: With the integration of Dalkia into the Veolia Group, customers, partners and the industry benefit from the greater span of environmental offerings. Coming together as one Veolia, preserving our customers' water, energy and raw material resources means helping them develop more cost-effective, sustainable processes through solutions that reduce their consumption and environmental impact.

Will Dalkia's integration into Veolia impact my contract?
Stewart: No, it is mainly an alignment to a single Veolia shareholder from the previous one of EDF and Veolia. It generates no change in the contractual commitments with customers nor in the continuity and quality of the services delivered, and the business will use the same ABN numbers.

Will my key contact manager change?
Stewart: No, you will keep your current point of contact. This may change according to a normal evolution process, in which case you will be informed.

What definitely will not change?
Stewart: Our dedicated focus to safety, customer satisfaction, commitment to the delivery and quality of services, the need for efficiency in everything we do, and the desire to cooperate more fully with the rest of the Veolia family. Veolia's energy services expertise and know-how can now be offered to a larger customer base to provide integrated environmental solutions.

Has the customer service centre contact details changed?
Stewart: No, for 24/7 energy services support, our customer service centre is contactable on the following numbers – Australia: 1800 325 542, New Zealand: 0800 325 542.

Where do I send invoices for processing?
Stewart: For now, please continue to send all invoices to the same electronic or PO Box addresses that you have been using. This may change sometime in the near future, in which case you will be informed.

Are Dalkia office locations changing across Australia and New Zealand?
