On 1 July, 2018, Ellwaste Waste & Services will cut-over to Veolia, after being acquired in July 2017. Both Ellwaste and Veolia have taken 12 months to work with customers, suppliers and the local community on preparing for this transition to ensure continuity of service, minimal disruption, and an unequaled focus on customer service.
Ellwaste commenced trading in 1984 with 1 front lift vehicle and 50 bins and grew to be one of the largest privately owned waste management companies in rural Victoria servicing the northern half of the state and southern NSW. This aquisition will expand Veolia's offering, with a particular focus on rural Victoria.
The services that Ellwaste have provided, will now be delivered as Veolia, however we anticipate that some elements of our operations may retain components of the Ellwaste brand, as we systematicaly and sustainably cross-over all pieces of equipment to the Veolia brand.
We are excited to bring to existing Ellwaste customers, the benefit of Veolia's 40+ years of experience, teamed with exceptional customer service, geographical reach and technical solutions. Similarly for existing and new customers, the expansion of our service offering within rural and regional locations, as well as the expansion of hygiene waste services within Victoria will bolster our already comprehensive service.
