Skip Bins

We provide five standard skip bin sizes and can build other bin sizes on request.

What is a skip bin?

Made out of heavy duty steel, a skip bin is heavy, require permits if placed on public property and can only be transported via marrell and skip bulk trucks.

When are skip bins suitable?

Skip bins are ideal for heavy waste materials and are suitable for sites with limited access.  Small volumes of dry bulk waste and recyclables generally warrant for skip bins.

Marrell Bins

We provide nine standard marrell bin sizes and can build other bin sizes on request.

What is a marrell bin?

Made out of heavy duty steel, a marrell bin is stationary and used when waste needs to be transported to bins via chutes.

They can only be transported via skip bulk trucks.

What are standard marrell bin sizes?

Standard sizes include:

  • 6 cubic metres
  • 7 cubic metres
  • 8 cubic metres
  • 9 cubic metres

  • 15 cubic metres

Which waste types are typically collected in marrell bins?

Waste types typically collected include:

  • Dry waste
  • Commingled – glass, plastic, bottles, aluminium and steel cans

When are marrell bins suitable?

Marrell bins are ideal for large volumes of dry bulk waste and recyclables and are suitable for sites with limited access.

They are ideal when multiple bins are needed for different waste types.

Hook Bins

We provide a number of different hook bin sizes and can build other bin sizes on request.

What is a hook bin?

Made out of heavy duty steel, a hook bin is stationary and can only be transported via hook lift trucks.

What are standard hook bin sizes?

Standard sizes range from 10 to 35 cubic metres.

Which waste types are typically collected in hook bins?

Waste types typically collected include:

  • Dry general (mixed) waste
  • Commingled – glass, plastic, bottles, aluminium and steel cans

When are hook bins suitable?

Hook bins are ideal for large volumes of dry general waste and recyclables, and there should be no access issues to site.

Compactor

We provide a number of different compactor sizes and offer transportable Auger and Blade compaction systems.

What is a compactor?

Made out of heavy duty steel, a compactor is stationary and can only be transported via hook lift trucks.

What are standard compactor sizes?

Standard sizes range from 5 to 35 cubic metres.

Which waste types are typically collected in compactors?

Waste types typically collected include:

  • Dry and wet general (mixed) waste
  • Commingled – glass, plastic, bottles, aluminium and steel cans

When are compactors suitable?

Compactors are ideal for large volumes of dry and wet general waste and recyclables and are suitable for large storage areas without access limitations. Accessories such as bin lifters and pre-crushers are common.

As part of our Always Safe program, we provide operator training and safe work instructions upon installation.

Balers & Bales

We provide a number of different baler sizes, which turn recyclables into bales for easy transport and potential export.

What is a baler?

Made out of heavy duty steel, a baler is stationary and can only be transported via flatbed truck.

What is a standard medical bin size?

A standard medical bin size is 50 litres.

Where do the medical bins go?

There are generally two standard options:

  • Thermally Controlled Destruction Facility: If the materials within cannot be reused, the stream is processed through an automatically controlled waste feed that ensures efficient combustion and complete destruction.  The waste is exposed to a chamber temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius, and the emissions are controlled to surpass European Standards, which exceed current Australian standards.
  • Autoclave: This applies only to equipment that can be sterilised for reuse such as medical supplies.
Confidential Bins

We provide confidential bins for collection and transport, which are generally removed from site by a Pantech truck.

What is a standard confidential bin size?

A standard confidential bin size is 50 litres.

Where do the confidential bins go?

All confidential and secured waste are delivered to and disposed of in a facility that is licenced to receive this type of material.  This type of material is generally destroyed.

Shredded paper and electronic waste such as microfiche and computer hard drives can be recycled.
