[ News listing ](/en/newsroom/news " News listing") 04 Aug. 2026 **As the only player bringing together expertise in water, energy, and circular economy on a global scale, Veolia is launching** [**Data Center Resource 360**](/en/our-media/press-releases/veolia-unveils-next-generation-integrated-offering-data-center-resource-360 "Veolia Unveils a Next-Generation Integrated Offering to Revolutionize the Future of the Data-Center Industry")**, an integrated offering that supports operators and municipalities far beyond their infrastructure: from securing resources to local acceptance, while creating sustainable value for communities.** The rise of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital services is accelerating data center construction worldwide. However, their development now faces a complex equation: accessing low-carbon energy, preserving water resources under pressure, reducing environmental footprint, shortening deployment timelines, and gaining community support. For Veolia, these challenges can no longer be addressed separately. They require a **holistic approach** capable of orchestrating all the resources essential to a data center's operation while meeting the expectations of local authorities. This new offering builds on what makes Veolia unique: an unparalleled ability to combine expertise in water, energy, and circular economy, while leveraging territorial presence and relationships of trust built over decades with local communities. Data centers have become essential infrastructure for our digital economy. With Data Center Resource 360, Veolia mobilizes its unique expertise to help operators reconcile performance, resilience, decarbonization, and value creation for the communities that host them. The Group designs and manages an integrated model that secures all critical resources of a data center. **Low-carbon energy, water optimization,** [**waste heat recovery**](/en/media/planetlive/waste-heat-recovery "Waste heat recovery")**, waste and critical equipment management, regulatory support, and dialogue with** [**communities**](/en/cities/cities-communities-territory-ecological-transformation "Cities, communities: how to successfully achieve the Ecological Transformation of your territory together?")**:** all these levers are brought together within a single offering to accelerate projects while improving their environmental performance and acceptance. This approach allows operators to focus on their core business, while Veolia orchestrates the conditions for **sustainable, resilient, and competitive development.** ## Making data centers drivers of territorial development One of the strengths of the **Data Center Resource 360** offering is going beyond the technical performance of infrastructure alone. By promoting [heat recovery for urban networks](/en/blog/urban-district-heating-networks-guarantee-energy-independence-decarbonizing-territories "Urban district heating networks: how to strengthen energy independence while decarbonizing your cities?"), optimizing water use, developing resilient energy systems, and strengthening dialogue with stakeholders, Veolia helps make data centers true partners for communities This ability **to create shared value** is now a decisive competitive advantage for operators facing growing demands for [decarbonization](/en/solutions/greenpath-zero-carbon-more-100-solutions-sustainable-decarbonization-model "GreenPath Zero Carbon: more than 100 solutions for a sustainable decarbonization model"), regulation, and local acceptance. ## Already measurable results ### Illinois (United States) Cooling system optimization with a **50%** reduction in water consumption and lower maintenance costs. ![Cooling system optimization in Illinois, USA](/sites/g/files/dvc4206/files/styles/default/public/image/2026/08/illinois-etats-unis-396x263.jpg.webp?itok=jfJUfCNJ) ### Brunswick (Germany) Waste heat recovery from data centers to supply the urban heating network, benefiting **56,000 residents**. ![Waste heat recovery in Brunswick, Germany](/sites/g/files/dvc4206/files/styles/default/public/image/2026/08/brunswick-allemagne-396x263.jpg.webp?itok=XD5Y0Yp3) ### Hong Kong (China) Operation and maintenance of two data centers with a facility availability level of **99.999%**. ![Operation and maintenance in Hong-Kong, China](/sites/g/files/dvc4206/files/styles/default/public/image/2026/08/hong-kong-chine-396x263.jpg.webp?itok=qUnmLtoO) ## The Veolia advantage With over 170 years of expertise in essential infrastructure and global presence, **Veolia is today the only player capable of offering such an integrated approach to data center challenges.** With Data Center Resource 360, Veolia doesn't simply support digital growth: the company creates the conditions for development where industrial performance, resource preservation, and community benefits advance together. **Discover Data Center Resource 360 and all the solutions developed by Veolia to support data center operators.** ![Cover of the brochure for Veolia's Data Center Resource 360 offering](/sites/g/files/dvc4206/files/styles/publication/public/image/2026/05/data-center-resource-360-220x311.jpg.webp?itok=yzHbqQUH) #### Data Center Resource 360 29 May 2026 Scale with Certainty.
