Hubgrade is a hypervision system and a management service that combines intelligence and interactivity to control the efficiency of buildings and infrastructures. Hubgrade is a genuine regional “intelligence” center which combines the rapidity of information technologies with a targeted capacity to intervene on the ground using Veolia technicians working in contact with customers. Designed as a truly integrated management platform, Hubgrade allows the real-time collection of data and their analysis by Veolia’s best experts via a digital network. In terms of energy efficiency for buildings, Hubgrade generates up to 15% of additional energy savings in comparison to existing energy services available on the market.
The Bilbao Hubgrade has 6 monitoring stations and a video wall that enables constant hypervision of each connected installation. In total, more than 300 experts - auditors, analysts and technicians in energy efficiency, control and monitor, in real time, the energy installations run by Veolia in Spain. Of the 6,900 energy installations run by Veolia in the country, the Group already uses the Bilbao Hubgrade to supervise over 2,000 facilities: nearly 1,000 buildings, 60 industrial sites, and 20 cooling and heating networks. The Bilbao Hubgrade is the 9th Veolia center in the world to supervise regional energy installations managed by the Group. It joins the hypervision centers in Brussels (Belgium), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Milan (Italy), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Dublin (Ireland), Stockholm (Sweden), Sydney (Australia) et Kosice (Slovakia). Two other centers are also in the process of being developed in Madrid and Barcelona. Veolia also already operates hypervision centers for the water and waste businesses in cities such as Lille, Lyons, Paris, Prague and Shanghai.
