Dubai / September 10, 2014 - Using its extensive return of experience in being a partner to cities for 160 years, Veolia can develop and deliver tailor made innovative services, using technologies as enablers, to support the achievement of the goals of city leaders in the Middle East.
Xavier Joseph, CEO, Gulf Countries: “In a fast moving environment where major international events will take place, this new holistic way of managing city will bring strong environmental benefits and assets efficiency that will contribute to tomorrow world’s most-connected and sustainable urban centers. Veolia’s approach allows developing the right tool for the right job depending on the local context and needs of the city.”
At the conference, Anne Leguennec, Business Development Director, Gulf Countries will share with key regional authorities and partners how Veolia can contribute to building a sustainable city ecosystem by designing and implementing solutions to leverage value from data and take action.
She will be focusing on three areas: increasing water efficiency, connecting the city to Veolia’s Environmental Resources Management Center and how urban planning and modelling must be considered as a new way to plan the sustainable city.
Francisco Silverio Marques, Business Development & Marketing Director from MAF DALKIA (a joint-venture between Majid Al Futtaim Ventures and Veolia) will also speak in the afternoon at the panel dedicated on sustainable energy initiatives.
Anne Leguennec, Business Development Director, Gulf Countries: “We accompany cities in the Middle East in their smart development through our environmental solutions at three levels of integration: Operations, Services and Ecosystem. At each different level, Veolia collects analyses and shares information with the city to implement smart environmental initiatives for a sustainable growth.”
