The RECAPP community is expanding. We launched RECAPP in Abu Dhabi and our ambition is to reach out to other Emirates very soon. Dubai will be our next destination, please stay tuned and thank you for your trust.
Identify all your recyclables (see the poster in "What to recycle?"), make sure they are all clean and empty, put them in a transparent bag.*
*The bags will not be returned.
All recyclables are valuable and we strive to collect a wide range of material. For now, we focus on plastic bottles and metal cans. We will gradually extend our service to cover other recyclables. Check our recycling guide to know more!
We thank you for being actively involved in RECAPP journey. In order to ensure the best quality service, we recommend RECAPP users to request for a collection when there's enough quantity of recyclables (1 or 2 big trash bags).
We will shortly start the distribution of our own RECAPP bags to allow you to store the maximum amount of recyclables before you order for a collection service. You will always be able to use any type of bags / containers to store your recyclables but it’s important to guarantee a sufficient quantity of recyclables to make the service of collection the most efficient possible. Our collectors always do a quick check on the quality of the collected material. Once collected, we will take care of everything. Note - we will not be able to give you back the bag/container.
The redeem service will be available very soon. Each time we collect your recyclables, you win points. The points can be redeemed from a list of gifts available in RECAPP.
No. You just have to put your recyclables in a bag at your doorstep and we will come to collect it. It’s a contactless service!
Yes you can, at any time, change existing collection points or add new ones by following those steps: 1. On the home screen, access your profile settings by clicking on your profile picture, 2. On "My Profile", “Edit” the location you want to update, 3. In "Edit Collection Point", you can edit the Address Name / Building Name / Apartment Number.
