SEBASTIEN CHAUVIN, Chief Executive Officer, Veolia Middle East

Sebastien has been appointed CEO of Veolia’s activities in the Middle East for water, waste and energy management in April 2018.
 

Sebastien is an Engineer by background, with over 10 years of experience in the utility sector, mostly in the MENA region. Previously, Sebastien was President & CEO of Amanor, a 100% Veolia affiliate, a large company of 600 employees, expert in water network management acting on municipal and industrial businesses all over Morocco.
He has also been Business Development Director for Veolia Morocco, a 600M Euro company with 4,000 employees. Before that, Sebastien was General Manager of Bahwan Veolia Water, an operation & maintenance company dedicated to desalination plants in the Sultanate of Oman.

His portfolio of achievements in his career include management of utility companies, experience in operation & maintenance of desalinations plants, technical expertise in the water sector & business development.

Sebastien is born in France, where he completed an Engineering degree in Operations Management at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, Centre Val de Loire. He also has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland.
