Estelle Brachlianoff's visit to Morocco

From 8 to 9 November 2019, Estelle Brachlianoff, Veolia’s Chief Operating Officer, was in Tangier and Rabat to visit the facilities of our subsidiaries Amendis and Redal. Along with Christophe Maquet, Veolia Executive Vice President Africa and Middle East and François de Rochambeau, Director Morocco, she praised the significant progress made over the years in terms of the connection and reliability of the water and electricity network in Morocco.

After a visit to the Tanja Balia source station, the central office of the three networks and the Hassan commercial agency, Estelle Brachlianoff met the participants in the Women Leadership Program introduced by Amendis as part of its commitment to parity, diversity and equal opportunities. This initiative creates a pool of talent, prepares the succession for key positions and meets the Group’s goal of increasing the number of women on Executive and Implementation Committees.

She also talked to Redal teams to encourage new members of the WEDO network, which prioritizes promoting workplace gender equality and gender diversity in operational activities and management. Consisting of more than 2000 Veolia men and women, the WEDO network brings together twenty local networks from across the world, including the one recently set up by Amendis and Redal.
