World Environment Day 2017

Each World Environment Day is organized around a theme that focuses attention on a particularly pressing environmental concern. The theme for 2017, ‘Connecting People to Nature’, urges us to get outdoors and into nature, to appreciate its beauty and to think about how we are part of nature and how intimately we depend on it. It challenges us to find fun and exciting ways to experience and cherish this vital relationship.

In order to act together on World Environment Day, Veolia Middle East has developed this year a "Tool Kit" to raise awareness on what is our natural environment in the Middle East and how we can contribute to be closer to nature.

The idea is an Interactive activity with a group with different people at each station to learn about biodiversity in the Middle East. Find below the purpose for each station and a brief explanation.
