In order to act together on World Environment Day, Veolia Middle East has developed this year a "Tool Kit" to raise awareness on what is our natural environment in the Middle East and how we can contribute to be closer to nature.
The idea is an Interactive activity with a group with different people at each station to learn about biodiversity in the Middle East. Find below the purpose for each station and a brief explanation.

STATION 1: Veolia & the Environment
This station is about understanding how Veolia, at a group level, contributes to manage natural resources, contribute to combating ckimate change and conserve biodiversity.
STATION 2: Protected areas in the region
There are about 1500 protected areas in the 22 countries of the region, but only five countries have protected more than 10% of their land.
STATION 3: Game - Animal per nationality
Veolia Middle East has more than 50 nationalities represented by its employees. To connect ou People to Nature, we have taken a native animal for each country.

How can you help? :
- Don't litter!
- Recycle and reuse as much as possible
- Minimize use of pesticides and herbicides
- Choose biogradable and biosafe products
