OUR ANSWER
The Quality Health Safety Environment (QHSE) correspondent is the "person in the know", or expert at the service of the management team. He/she supports executives in implementing health and safety measures and informs decision making through his/her knowledge and know-how. The management team is responsible for this policy.
For the sake of consistency and harmonisation, a health and safety centre of excellence brings together 25 QHSE correspondents of various nationalities twice a year. This centre of excellence enables practices to be shared with a view to ongoing improvement. It defines the Group's focus areas for accident prevention, health and safety. The international make-up of this centre is critical since it enables tools to be offered that can be used worldwide.
