One of the world’s biggest programs for recycling flooring materials with Tarkett

In 2010, Tarkett set up its ReStart program to multiply by five the waste flooring materials it collects and recovers. With this program, the French multinational specialized in floor coverings and sports surfaces is working ahead of European regulations that will oblige construction companies to recycle 70% of their waste by 2020.

Tarkett chose Veolia to help it achieve its aims in this field. Veolia collects Tarkett’s floor covering scraps from everywhere in France, and then sorts them by category so they can re-enter Tarkett’s manufacturing process.
