As a company listed on the CAC 40, Veolia is rated for its CSR performance based on its published information and statements.

In particular, Veolia has been selected in particular in the following indexes:, DJSI World & Europe and FTSE4Good, as leader of its sector,stock as well as ESI Europe, S&P Europe 350 ESG et and S&P Global 1200 ESG. Veolia received was awarded the ‘"prime"’ status of excellence from by the Oekom research agency and is present listed in the RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook 2017 2018 with "bronze ‘gold class’" and ‘industry mover’ ratings, ranked 5th 1st out of the 40 enterprises34 large corporations in its sector.

Regarding climate ranking, in 2016, the Group was ranked A- in the CDP Climate change, CDP supply chain, and CDP Water listsplaced on the CDP A list. It is also present ranked in the Euronext Low carbon Europe 100,  and S&P Global 1200 Fossil Fuel Free Carbon Efficient  and S&P Europe 350 Fossil Fuel Free Carbon Efficient indices.

As a supplier, in 2016 Veolia received the Gold award for its position in the top 5% of companies evaluated by Ecovadis, a supply chain CSR evaluation provider for the supply chain.
