Born in 1978 and a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées, Christophe Maquet joined Veolia in 2004 and began his career as Financial Controller for the Group's Energy activities.
In 2007, he joined Veolia's teams in the Middle East, where he was successively Chief Financial Officer for Energy, Director of Energy Development and then Managing Director of Utilities.
He continued his career in Asia in 2013 as Director of Cooling and Industrial Utilities Networks Asia and Middle East, then as Director of Energy for Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong. In 2017, Christophe Maquet became Veolia's Industrial Business Director in Japan before being appointed, in 2019, Director of the Africa & Middle East zone.
After his appointment as a member of Veolia's Executive Committee as well as Director of the Asia Zone in April 2021, Christophe Maquet became Director of the Asia-Pacific Zone in February 2022.
