DuPont selects Veolia to upgrade, operate and maintain utilities on its Spruance site in Virginia (United States).

For the industrial group the technologies and innovations developed by Veolia will improve the performance and reliability of utilities and reduce fixed costs at the Spruance plant, a major production site for DuPont. Veolia will operate and maintain the cogeneration plant that supplies the plant's power plant. Veolia already manages the collection and packaging of waste via 20 collection points on the site.

“Together DuPont and Veolia have established a long-term partnership and commitment to the Spruance facility. This is a strong example of Veolia’s capabilities to serve as a ‘one-stop-shop’ for customers seeking Central Utility Services. They’re able to focus on what they do best, let us focus on our expertise in managing and maintaining utilities infrastructure, and help them reduce their production costs,” said Veolia North America CEO Bill DiCroce.
