New Chief Technical and Innovation Officer for Veolia ANZ

Veolia Australia New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Slattery, who joins our Executive Committee in the role of Chief Technical and Innovation Officer on 9 October 2023.

Ms Slattery previously held the post of Head of Technical Services and Operations at Colliers, where she was responsible for leading teams of technical specialists and subject matter experts across technical services, project management, risk and sustainability.

Ms Slattery has also held diverse leadership and engineering roles with AGL, JLL and Mott MacDonald.

Veolia ANZ CEO and Managing Director Richard Kirkman said, “Ms Slattery brings a strong background in electrical engineering, as well as technical and commercial advisory, asset management, project management, renewable developments and operational performance across Asia-Pacific.

“Importantly, this appointment brings Veolia's executive office in Australia to a 50:50 gender balance which means better, stronger decision making. I’m really lucky to have achieved this and I can’t imagine it any other way.”
