Paints, Inks & Dyes

Inks, dyes, pigments, paints, lacquers and varnish contain chemicals that may contaminate our groundwater and be harmful to humans.

It is important that these items are disposed of safely. They cannot be disposed as general waste or poured down the drain. Depending on the base of the ink, dyes, pigments, paints, lacquers and vanish they need to be treated and disposed of differently.

Does Veolia collect paint, ink and dye waste?

Veolia’s highly trained and experienced team can safely collect, treat and correctly recycle or dispose your commercial and industrial quantities of paint waste, including spray booth waste, inks and dyes at one of our licensed waste treatment facilities.

The packaged waste will be collected by our dedicated hazardous waste fleet and transported to a waste treatment facility where the best treatment or disposal method will be determined.

If the chemical is water-based, the material will be sent to composters.  If the chemical is water-based, We can recover solvent and gun wash from solvent-based (oil-based) paint waste. The recycled solvent and gun wash can then be supplied back as a commodity for reuse in other product manufacturing.
