How Veolia Helps

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust provided scholarships, grants and donations to 144 individuals, community groups and organisations in 2015/2016 valued at more than $1,100,000. 

2017 Round 3 Funding Recipients

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust congratulates the following organisations for their successful grant and donation applications in the latest round of Trust funding.

Recent Projects

Successful Veolia Mulwaree Trust grant recipients are:

1st Bungendore Scout Group - $50,000 toward the construction of new scout & community facility which will be utilised by a wide range of Bungendore’s community groups.  1st Bungendore is one of the largest scouting groups in NSW and has been planning the new facility for many years with significant fund raising by the local community.
St Joseph's Primary School Goulburn - St Joseph’s will undertake an upgrade of its playground with a grant of $43,973 from the Trust. The upgrade will include the installation of new playground equipment and synthetic grass in a section of the student’s outdoor area.
Goulburn High School – Goulburn High School’s P and C Association has undertaken to refurbish the three cricket practice nets at the school and increase participation in cricket amongst the students. The Trust will contribute $30,452 toward the facility upgrade.
Picton Tennis Club Inc – will receive $27,400 from the Trust toward the installation of two new synthetic grass court surfaces at its facility, increasing useability of the sports venue, particularly in wet conditions.
Milton Show Society Inc – The Milton Showground pavilion will receive improvements including a new covered outdoor dining area and additions to the existing kitchen. The Trust will assist with a grant of $23,600.
Goulburn Community Radio - $18,693 has been granted to Goulburn Community Radio to assist in the upgrade to digital broadcast equipment. Station volunteers will undertake the work to install, test and switch over the equipment.
Robertson Environment Protection Society Inc - $10,705 has been granted to the development of environmental and history sections of Robertson Community Information Centre in Hampden Park to provide residents and visitors with a range of information about the area.
Fullerton Bush Fire Brigade – successfully applied to the Trust for $4,700 toward the purchase of new mower as a shared asset for several Fullerton community organisations including the Fullerton Fire Station, Bolong cemetery, Kempton Hall, and St John’s Bolong Church.
The following organisations were successful in receiving donations in the latest funding round.
Braidwood Urban Landcare Group - creation of outdoor gym equipment site $1000.
Goulburn Gem Society Inc – to purchase two new grinding machines $1000.
Crookwell Public School – to purchase new shelving and furniture for the school library $1000.
Celebrate Goulburn Inc - funding to assist promote anniversary of Australia's first Grand Prix $1000.
Country Women's Association Moss Vale Branch –to purchase a new refrigerator for CWA Rooms $995.
Goulburn Community Health Service – to provide materials to assist trauma sufferers $1000.
St Jude's Music Association Inc - funding to engage artists to perform at 2018 Bowral Music Festival $1000.
Dalton Public Hall Reserve Trust – to undertake repairs to windows at Dalton Public Hall $1000.
Creative Gunning Inc – to purchase shop fittings to display gallery items $1000.
Crookwell Neighbourhood Centre Inc  - purchase of learning recourses and equipment for before and after school care service $1000.
Goulburn AP&H Society - purchase of section flags for use during show $1000.
Bundanoon Public School –funding to establish bush tucker garden for students $1000.
Nulladolla Pottery Group Inc – funding toward pottery workshop $1000.
Riding for the Disabled Goulburn – donation toward purchase of feed for RDA horses $1000.
Riding for the Disabled Wollondilly – Donation toward purchase of stick rake to maintain RDA grounds $1000.
Gunning District Community and Health Service Inc (Gunning Community Care) – purchase new privacy screen in GP room $1000.
